Last November I thought my life was never going to get better, I
thought it was over and nothing was going to make me happy again. Well, it's
five months later, I have an awesome job, with fun people, and I'm packing to
move into an apartment with Martina.
Two days ago,
Martina and I went to look at apartments. We put in an application for The Park
Apartments, and she told us that she would get back to us by Friday about whether
everything went through. We didn't think anything was going to happen because
we had been calling places for weeks with no response. So, when we got the
email saying what apartment we have and when we can move in, we were excited!
I am so happy with
where my life is right now. I have a reliable car, an excellent job, and now I
have my own apartment. I honestly don't think my life would be like this if I
wasn't broken up with. It's kind of a sad thought, that if I was still in a
relationship, I wouldn't have everything I have now. But it's true. I wouldn't
have wanted to move, or to get a better job.
